The trip — Part two: Des Moines

Posted by dextr0us on June 1st, 2007 filed in .etc

The trip to Des Moines was a pretty easy one… except some wicked crazy rain in Nebraska.  I went about 750 miles and filled up twice on my way to Iowa, and I’ve got to say that I was truly wrong about the dip.  Nebraska wasn’t the dip I had expected, and I actually had a good journey through the (insert state nickname) state.

I stayed at a motel six that was sans internet access, hence why I’m posting this so late.  I’ll look back at my travel-log (velog, if you will) and update this post with extra info later on this weekend, after moving in.

That be The Cornhusker State, home of Kool-Aid, Cliff’s Notes, and Arbor Day.
