Lost, I don’t think you’re going to make it!

So… I think Lost and I are through. I feel like tonight’s episode should have been like second or third for this season. Did we get a ton of answers? Shocker… no we didn’t. Instead, we got more confusion, more interesting ideas, and yet again, another annoyance.
This show is an awful travesty. I’m thinking about reworking the entire show to create storyline based episodes… where things get set up and solved. I’ve already got the domain… it’s openlost.org. I’ve got to figure out exactly how to execute on it, but I think somehow we could re-edit the show or something to make it fit better.
I’m going to propose it to some peeps over at the lostpedia tomorrow.

Gave up on this after the second episode of series 2.
I’d imagine that a “plotline only” remix would probably last about 5 minutes, heh.

Answers? We don’t need to stinking answers.
Seriously, I love the show and I loved last night episode. I’m not the only one either, it was one of the highest rated ever on TV.com, for whatever that is worth.
Either way if we got all the answers how interesting would that be, but I have to say that sometimes by the time I get an answer I quit caring about what the question was. As much as I love the show questions should be answered sooner than 2 seasons latter.

I still love the show, and thought last night’s episode gave us some good (albeit weird) stuff. I agree with Ben in that the concern is whether or not we will get answers to the questions raised a) in a reasonable amount of time, and b) in a way that indicates they actually had answers to these questions when they raised them, rather than cobbling together something that doesn’t make sense in an attempt to tie up loose ends.
We’ve seen so many loose ends on Lost that at times you have to assume that they’ll never address all of them by the time it all concludes.

I used to listen to the official Lost Podcast (yeah maybe I do like the show too much) and I definitely believe that the producers have a big master plan for the show. They specifically said that they NEVER raise a question that they don’t already know the answer too, but the only two people who know the whole story is the two producers. The other writers are only given what they need to know to work on the upcoming episode.
