Social search is going to be huge

So I think i’ve nailed down what one of the next big thing on the web is going to be, other than WikiReview, Tech Check Daily and Politic2.0… and it’s relevent / social search. What if instead of 20,000 results, you had 20 or 10 that were completely relevant based on votes? Bam!
Also, what if TagJungle really hits it big? No more keyword mapping?
TagJungle + social search = the next level of search.

Isn’t search already social in a sense? After all, it is based on links and if you took the time to link somewhere then you must be claiming it is a relevant and worthy site for your attention. And who is complaining about thousands of results. no one ventures past the first couple hundreds any way. When I am not finding what I am looking for in the first page, I go back and specify my search better. Besdies, the next big thing for the web is tools to help one talk to oneself a la Twitter.

I agree, especially in the area of people search. Already social search sites for people are popping up like crazy.
